Ingredients
1 can (15 ounce) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained and rinsed
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Cooking Oil Spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400° F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Gently dry drained chickpeas on a towel and transfer to baking sheet. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Mix garlic powder, salt, onion powder and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle on chickpeas. You may need to massage the chickpeas to get the spices to evenly coat them.
- Roast chickpeas for 20 minutes and then shake the pan to roll them around. Roast in oven for additional 10-20 minutes until golden and crispy. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Note: To get the chickpeas extra-crunchy, you may want to cool completely after about 30 minutes of baking, then re-bake at 400° F for an additional 20 minutes.
