Beacon Health & Fitness members have access to swim at all locations including Granger, Elkhart and Three Rivers. We offer swimming pools with state-of-the-art technology and maintenance. Our staff maintains the highest quality in pool water quality and safety. All pools are certified by the Health Department. Both internal and external audits are done regularly on chemical storage/handling, as well as record keeping and compliance with state and local health codes.

Our Elkhart facility does offer an aquatics only membership for access to our Competition Pool:
- Youth – $20 per month, $49 enrollment fee (12 and under)
- Individual – $39 per month, $49 enrollment fee
- Couple – $59 per month, $49 enrollment fee (2 individuals at same address)
- Family – $79 per month, $49 enrollment fee (2 individuals at same address and any dependent children under 22)

- All of our lap pools are configured in 25 yards.
- One lap is 2 lengths (50 yards) | 1 Mile is 36 Laps (72 lengths)
- Elkhart Competition Pool configuration runs Short Course (25 yard/meter) September – Mid March and Long Course (50 meter) Mid March – August.

Pool Rules and Etiquette
Sharing Swim Lanes
- 2 people in a lane can circle swim or split the lane
- 3 people in a lane must circle swim
- Be aware of how “wide” swimming movements may impact adjacent swimmers
- Check for the position and speed of other swimmers prior to entering a lane
- Swimmers entering a lane should inform others that they are entering. Do so by dangling a foot or placing a kickboard in at the end of the lane to get swimmers’ attention.
- Observe and respect the pace and workout routine of other swimmers/exercisers in the lane
- Swimmers/exercisers in a lane should remain aware and accommodating of arriving swimmers
- Walkers can share a lane. A lane can accommodate up to 8 walkers.
Lap Swimming During Group Exercise Classes
- Number of lanes open for lap swimming is based on the number of participants in the class. (varies by location and class)
- Plan your pool usage based on the group exercise schedule, on our app or at the information desk.
Swimming Pool Rules
- Anyone who has or has had diarrhea in the past two (2) weeks shall not use the pool.
- Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult whenever in the pool area.
- Anyone who has an area of exposed sub epidermal tissue, open blisters, cuts, etc., is advised not to use the pool.
- All persons shall take a cleansing shower before using the pool. A bather leaving the pool to use the toilet shall take another cleansing shower before returning to the pool enclosure. Indiana and Michigan Health Code requires head-to-toe showers with soap prior to entering the therapy pool, lap pool and whirlpools.
- Spitting, spouting of water, blowing of nose, and similar behavior in the pool is prohibited.
- No running or rough play is permitted in the pool, on the runways, on diving boards, on floats, on platforms, in dressing rooms, or in showers.
- Swimsuits are required. Street clothes are not allowed in the pool.
- All diapers need to use plastic pants with tight fitting elastic at the legs and waist, or swim diapers. Do not change diapers at poolside.
- No splashing, diving or cussing
