Avah started attending Beacon Health and Fitness a few years ago as a dedicated member enjoying all of the variety in classes and instructors that it has to offer as well as its upbeat and positive community.
Her passion for Pilates was fueled by the energy and example of those same instructors who inspired her to learn more about Pilates and take her own practice to a more professional level. She is certified in Balanced Body Movement Principles, Anatomy in 3D, Mat I and II, Reformer I, II and III and Chair.
She continues in her personal practice and hopes to bring to each class she teaches that same passion and love she has for Pilates to others. She knows that Pilates allows for EVERY body to be able to find positive movement and a deeper connection between mind and body. She loves the diversity and challenge Pilates can add to anyones exercise regimen and how it reinforces quality movement and intention over intensity…although she loves to throw in challenging moves to show how good Pilates can make us work!
