Metabolism plays a major role in your fitness and health. A Resting Metabolic Test (RMT) measures how many calories your body burns in a day at a rested state. This helps us calculate how many calories YOU should be consuming in a day in order to lose, maintain or gain weight. Online calculators can be very inaccurate because they are generic which can prevent you from reaching your fitness goals, this test is specific to your body.
Every three months, we like to do a free check-in, or “quick look” with you just to see how you’re doing. This takes just about five minutes and you’ll be on your way.
All of our facilities feature a warm water therapy pool with a water temp between 91 & 93 degrees. These pool are great for people with joint conditions.

The Commons at Elkhart Health & Aquatics features free & low cost classes & events for all members of the community. Join us for fitness classes, open gym time or other events. The Commons also has rental spaces available for your next event!
Our Elkhart club, located inside Elkhart Health & Aquatics, has access to the larger than Olympic-sized pool. This is the region’s largest pool, holding 1.1 million gallons of water and using adjustable bulkheads to separate the pool into sections we cater to members, programming and events. Whether that is for lap swimming, swim lessons, swim meets, diving, trainings, etc., our pool can do it all! All Beacon Health & Fitness members have access to the aquatic area as well as all other BHF features in the facility.
