Jake is passionate about working with people who have chronic diseases, orthopedic limitations and those looking to change their body composition. He also enjoys working with strength athletes and those looking for advanced fitness programming. His philosophy and exercise programming is based on a deep scientific understanding of the human body, scientific research in the field and writings from some of the most successful fitness professionals in the country. He strives to provide safe, effective workouts that are designed specifically for the goals and ability level of each individual. Jake currently competes in powerlifting competitions and has also competed in triathlons in the past. Outside of personal training, Jake leads three Best Medicine classes, Phase IV Cardiac Rehab, Climb (Parkinson’s fitness), and Steps Ahead (Peripheral Artery Disease fitness.) He also specializes in designing and performing fitness assessments for a wide range of ability levels. He believes fitness is a lifelong journey that anyone can enjoy!
